idaho trip summer 2008 {part 3}.

After 2 weeks in Idaho, Connel had to go back to work in Missouri, but I got to stay longer...Which provided me with lots of fun girl time!!

I went to ice cream with my friends Julie, Tanya and Jana...I had a fun girls day with my friends Kathryn, Brooke and Amy. We made necklaces, had brunch and watched a chic flick! Oh yes, and googled over the babies!!
While I was having a great time at Wally world with my mom, we ran into a couple of presidential candidates!

My mom, sister and I were able to go shopping, go to lunch, go to the library and watch chic flicks! Here are a couple of pics of us being silly!

I was also able to get to see my friend Heidi and spend some time with her and her kids!
(Isn't she beautiful?)

Luke, giving me a "queeze" (squeeze)!

After such a great time in Idaho, I was sad to leave, but missed my hubby severely! When I got home (after we finally found each other at the St. Louis Airport!) he had a bouquet of flowers (fall colors even-woohoo go Connel!) for me. What a sweetie! There really is no place like home... Here and There!

idaho trip summer 2008 {part 2}.

After saying goodbye to Cathy and Carly, Connel's Dad, Connel and Brother Cody drove us to Pocatello, where we met up with Alicia and her friend Brandon.
We then headed to IF to visit my Family! My Mom and Dad sure had a full house with Connel, Me, my brother Greg and his 2 kids (Charlotte -Charlie for short- and Gage), my sister Alicia, and my other brother Eric! Not to mention the fact that Brandon, Austin and Matt were there most of the time as well!! But we all had fun hanging out together, watching chick flicks and playing with the kids.

On Friday night (the weekend after labor day) we went to our friends house and had a BBQ with a group of some really great friends! Heidi (minus Kevin--he was in TEXAS at basic training for the AIR FORCE!!!) and her 2 kids (Luke and Shelby), Steve, Brooke and Emily, Brian and Kathryn, Chad, Amy, the twins (Lily and Ellie) and Chris, Becca and Savannah! It was so great to see good friends and party like we used to (except this time it was twice the people because of all the babies!!! :) Unfortunately, I did not take any pictures...WHAT WAS I THINKING?!?!? blah... Oh well, the good memories will just have to be enough to hold me over.

AND...While we were there, Connel got to do something that he has been missing the most... go riding with his buddies! (oops...I forgot to send the camera with him...so again-no pics.)

While Connel went riding, My mom, Alicia and I took the kids to a local park and this time I did take some pictures!!! :)
Gage and I getting ready to go down the slide!

Looks like Licia is having more fun than Charlie!! :)

idaho trip summer 2008 {part 1}.

Didja miss me? No, I have not been purposely neglecting my blog. I have been on vacation! And what a fun (and eventful) one at that! Going almost a full month with out internet made me realize that I CAN live without blogging. However, I did miss reading all the updates!

I didn't miss my email and blogging buddies as much as I thought I would (sorry), I just had so much fun with the family and friends that I have missed for 8 months!

We were only in Missouri for a few days before we headed to Idaho. We first met up with Connel's family and headed to Bear Lake. It was so great to see them, it had been 8 months since the last time we saw them!

We spent Labor Day weekend boating, jet-skiing, fourwheeling, watching movies and going to the Minnetonka Cave.

We also celebrated all of our birthdays together, (thankfully because I am really awful at remembering them all!)

It was great to spend time with the Pettersons, they are the best in-laws that I could ever ask for!
