august 2011.

I'm sort of overwhelmed with the amount of photos that I have.  Wow.  I am just going to throw the whole month of August's photos into this post.  Enjoy!

The end of our summer was filled with plenty to do, but it did not really seem that busy.  We tried to take is slow and easy...

We swam in the backyard...

Played "house"...

 and cars...

Said goodbye to some best buds...

Caelen, Hannah, Brinkley, Jackson, Braden

ate yummy summer food...

painted some pictures...

Got all dressed up and had fun at the fair...

loved seeing this old couple eating corn together.  They were just sitting there people watching.  It was cute.

We let Hannah ride a ride by herself.  I feel so bad now...look at that face!!!  She seemed to not like it a bit, but when she got off she said we asked if she had fun and she said "ya, gain (again)"!

I can scowl too!

Getting sleepy...and a little overstimulated! ;)

We've been making lots of soup lately and Hannah likes to help stir (before it goes on the stove)
Hmmm...needs just a little salt.

Dealing with mosquito bites on Hannah's face was an adventure!

Can you say "Quasimoto"?

We washed the cars inside and out (finally...they needed the TLC!)

Another mosquito bite.

And we went on plenty of nature walks and collected various plant and mineral specimens...including some signs of Autumn!!! :)

She would not let go of this little tiny apple that she found.

Sorry for the quick run through, but we really have been just lazing about lately!  :)

making breakfast with daddy.

Hannah and Daddy have had a great time making breakfast together every once in a while.  Hannah likes to help stir!  She is such a great little helper and loves to work alongside us!  In these pictures, she was helping Daddy make french toast!  Yummmm!

road rash.

This little munchkin can really get herself into some headaches...literally!  I was taking groceries in the house and Hannah was playing in the car, well for the first time, she figured out how to use the door handle, and she fell out of the drivers side door... flat on the side of her face/forehead!  :(  It was so sad, I felt like I had ignored Mother's intuition because just second earlier I had thought to myself, I should probably get her out of the car...oops!  Guess I'll listen better next time!

Later, she had fun putting band-aids on her baby dolls heads to match hers.  She doctored them right up! ;)

Exhausted baby with dirty toes!
