November 2011

Here are some fun pictures of Hannah that Daddy took with his phone.  She just loves chillaxin' with a good book and some hot cocoa! ;)

Already trying to get us to buy her a car for Christmas...

We got to take a little trip to the temple while some of the youth and adults watched the kiddos!

We pretty much had one family home evening per month at this point, but we did go all out and make a "thankful" tree with Hannah, each day we all thought of something we were thankful for and added a leaf to our "hand"made tree. (get it?  we traced our hands and and made a tree out of them)

Go-gurts for FHE treat.

One thing that we will surely miss about Ohio is the piles and piles of fall leaves!!!  Hannah loved to jump in any and every pile she could find!

After this particular occasion she decided try to run away from me...

But I put that fugitive in jail.  This is how Hannah looks behind bars.  :)  Kidding of course!

Playing with a little nativity set.

Horsey rides!

Just a cute pic of Hannah with that beloved mimi!

Tried taking a photo shoot of Hannah in the outfit that Grandma gave her before she got to big for it.  Most of the pictures were like the first one, and one photo was like the second one.  !

Hannah was addicted to her "mimi" and so we ended up getting ready to say bye bye to the binky and "sending it flying away" on a "balloon trip"!  Hannah was not that happy to see it go and was more devastated to see the balloons and mimi get caught in the power lines.  Oops!  So everytime we went outside after that she looked at the balloons and mimi hanging from the power lines and said "mimi go bye bye"  Out of sight, out of mind did not apply in this instance, she asked for it a few nights, but never screamed for it.  And the binky was bye bye for good.  How sad!

Looking out the window at the mimi caught in the power lines.  :(

We decorated our Christmas tree a little early (even before Thanksgiving).  We were only going to get to enjoy it for a few weeks anyway because we were going to Idaho for Christmas and Cody's Wedding (and eventually resulting in a whirlwind move to UTAH!)!  We got some great posed candid pictures.

Hannah was sick for a few days in November she had croup and was throwing up.  We spent a couple days and laid low, and ate plenty of Ramen and Juice!

But we didn't stop moving of course, this toddler is still full blast and so we busted out the paints a few days in a row...

This year we spent Thanksgiving with our dear and greatly missed friends the Kirkhams and the Davenports.  The Kirkham's invited us to their home to enjoy her Mother's delicious Thankgiving dinner.  It turned out to be one of our last get-togethers before we moved. :(  It was wonderful with yummy, yummy, yummy food and pies and appetizers!  I made a pecan and a cherry pie and an appetizer cheese ball shaped like a turkey (idea from pinterest, of course)!  People there were: Luke, Katie, Livi, Spencer, Mac Kirkham, Katie's parents (Katie and her Mom made most of the food and it was delicious!)  Jeremy, Kimi, Brinkley and Caelen Davenport, and the Petterson family!  We are so grateful for our good friends in Ohio who are practically like family! (tears)

And just for fun...the many faces of Hannah...  (Daddy can get her to make all these faces within a minute or two!)
