idaho trip june 2010 {family reunion and more}.

After 2 weeks in Idaho, we went to Salt Lake City Area for a Family Reunion.  We first picked up Connel from his sister apartment (he had arrived in SLC the night before). and then made our way to the Jordan Family Fiesta!

We were going to go to Cherry Hill, but the day was soo rainy and windy, we ended up sociallizing on a stake center.  It was fun we got to meet new babies and see old people.  Haha!  Okay, okay.  We loved seeing all the relatives that we have missed and so many that we have not seen for years.  I personally liked having it at the stake center, we had more chance to visit I think!  We had yummy food too!  Here is a CUTE idea for chips and salsa that they used...

However, I have been lame with taking pictures at times lately, and the reunion was no exception, so hopefully Scott or Alicia (or whoever's camera it was flashing pics left and right) will be emailing pictures out soon! ;)

After the reunion we went to my Aunt and Uncle's hotel and went swimming.  It was Hannah's first time!

Then later that evening I went to see my Royal Crest 111 college roomie, Michele, at her Wedding Reception!  It was great to see Megan as well!

Michele was THE MOST beautiful bride ever!  Her decorations were stunning.  And I loved her colors.  It made me want to get married all over again...to Connel again, of course! :)  So, really I just wanted to plan a wedding again, they are so cute and stylish nowadays!

The next day, back in IF, we went to the Greenbelt with some of my family.

Then on Monday night we went to my Uncle Randy and Aunt Sonia's for some Gardening and a BBQ with my family and Richard and Ashley and kids.  Here we are plowing away!

We also got to see our dear friends from St Louis area, the Taylor's (minus Brian...but we hope we get to see you another time!) It was great to see Kim, Addie, Callen and their newest addition Cooper!

I have to add this picture of Uncle Greg and Hannah and say that he could definitely get Hannah giggling like crazy.  He would say "ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba!" really loud and bear like and she would just laugh her little Hannah laugh!  It was so cute!

It was sad to leave, like always!  We loved being at home and just being around family!  Sometimes it's so hard to be so far away! :(

eight months.

Baby girl, 

You are still a baby, but starting to grow up a little bit!  This last month you have really grown by leaps and bounds and I have been trying to keep up with you!  We love to see all the fun things you are doing.  We are entertained by just watching you and the new things you are doing each day.  

• You are a super crawler!  You just jet along and the next thing I know you are getting into something you are not supposed to.  When you crawl on the kitchen floor, you use your hands, but then you only use one knee and the other foot to crawl, I think it's because it a hard floor and it hurts your knees, but it may be that you are trying to get around faster!  It's pretty cute to watch.

 

• You are eating finger foods and boy am I glad!  It keeps you entertained for at least ten minutes!  You like puffs, cooked diced carrots, bananas, graham crackers, yogurt bites, and diced canned pears.  Actually that's all the finger foods you've tried!  You just like to be independent and feed yourself!

• You are also starting to pull yourself up on things!  But, only if we are holding one or both of your hands, I guess you are still building confidence!  You get sooo excited when we say "Yay!" because you are standing!

• You are way into everything besides your toys.  Give you paper, plastic, cardboard, lids, spoons, keys, Dad's zip tag for work, and you are a happy girl!

• This past month you went on your first trip.  We went to Idaho, Oregon, Salt Lake City Area, and Yellowstone Nat'l Park, I think we passed through Montana on the way home from Yellowstone.  That's six new states!  Making 10 total for you!

• You are babling just a bit, you say "ba-ba-ba..."  but you actually put your bottom lip to your gums when you say it and it sounds like "va-va-va", instead of your lips together!  It's adorable! You are adorable!
