team tessa.

A little over a year ago my sister, Emily, and her husband, Aaron, had a little baby girl. For those of you who don't know...that little girl was born at 26 weeks and weighed 2 lbs. 3 oz...through many prayers, help from above and the miracle of modern medicine and technology... she was able to grow into a healthy and ADORABLE little girl who is now ONE year old and cute as ever! One of the many organizations that helped support Tessa was the March of Dimes. They are now joining forces with the March of Dimes on April 26th in a March for Babies. The March of Dimes organization helps with research on premature birth and preventing birth defects and gives hospital support to families of premature babies. To read more about what she is doing to help (and learn more about Tessa's story) see the post on her blog or look on her March for Babies page. You can either participate in the walk (most people I know probably won't be able to fly to Massachusetts to do this :) or you can click here to support her walk by donating!
